Guest Vincent16 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Hello people, I've got a samsung i900 . I bought it on ebay (x1387 seller ) imported from singapour. I really like this phone, but I don't know if it is the same for ya, my screen sensitivity is really bad ... I can't use my fingers, I must use nail to get it reacts ! My bro bought an i900 yesterday to Orange ... And I was really suprised ! His screen sensitivity is badword*ing good ! He can use his fingers, it is very strange ! He's got the XHHH3 ROM version, and I've got the DXHL3 (taril ) Why does he have better sensitivity ? Do you think it can result from his ROM ? Or his screen is simply more sensitive because his Omnia is new ? I tried to change the click to 200 and downup to 750 in the registry but it does not improve the sensitivity ... Thanks ppl.

Guest subzro14 Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 (edited) i also experienced the same thing. i bought my omnia late last year. i currently have HL3 as my ROM. i used reg tweaks to improve screen "sensitivity". my officemate just bought hers a few weeks ago. i was kinda skeptical at first but lo and behold her screen was noticeably more responsive. it needs less pressure compared to mine. one example is in her S2U2 slider. i have to apply a bit of pressure to my S2U2 slider but in her phone i need way less pressure. i helped upgrade her ROM to HK3 when she got it initially. we have the same registry and S2U2 settings. well i guess newer phones were "tweaked" in some way unless i'm missing something here. i feel a wee bit disappointed at the moment coz we both roughly paid the same amount of money for the unit yet she seems to have gotten the "better" deal/phone. but i still think the omnia rocks :) Edited February 3, 2009 by subzro14
Guest goranm Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Try going through the Align screen procedure once again, but this time use as little pressure as possible to "mark" the target. I'm not sure, but I think it helped improve the touch sensitivity of my Omnia. i also experienced the same thing. i bought my omnia late last year. i currently have HL3 as my ROM. i used reg tweaks to improve screen "sensitivity". my officemate just bought hers a few weeks ago. i was kinda skeptical at first but lo and behold her screen was noticeably more responsive. it needs less pressure compared to mine. one example is in her S2U2 slider. i have to apply a bit of pressure to my S2U2 slider but in her phone i need way less pressure. i helped upgrade her ROM to HK3 when she got it initially. we have the same registry and S2U2 settings. well i guess newer phones were "tweaked" in some way unless i'm missing something here. i feel a wee bit disappointed at the moment coz we both roughly paid the same amount of money for the unit yet she seems to have gotten the "better" deal/phone. but i still think the omnia rocks :)
