Guest thestar_2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I have now been using the Omnia for above two weeks and am more than delighted with its performance after upgrading to the latest ROM - DXHK3. Not to forget the HH3 was the worst in terms of battery performance but that's a separate discussion. I am now considering a bluetooth headset for the Omnia and my choices are the Senheisser MM200 and the Sony Ericisson HBH-DS980. At the bare minimum I am looking at both these being able to allow me to control my music i.e next/previous/pause/play and the standard call functionality. It would also be great if i could connect more than one device at a time. Any advise on this and how it works with the omnia if someone has already tried the above? It should also support profiles like A2DP and AVRCP. http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/icm_senncom...le_music_mm_200
Guest aridoasis Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 you could opt to puchase some thing like this . it's a bluetooth headset adapter which allows you to use any pair of headphone/earphones. that way, you have more freedom, coz you can transmit sound to anything that has a 3.5mm jack - all you got to do is plug it in the adapter and viola! i've been using mine for quote some time and it's a really great investment, the bh-500. but there are other brand and models out there. google is your friend.

Thanks for your response. I am pretty much fixed on what i want to buy(somthing more premium) and would just like to know how the mm200 works with the omnia before i invest my cash on something expensive like this. Thanks.
Guest miko3d Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Hi there, I got the mm200 with S2P it works pretty nicely, you can vol up down next song prev song and pause/continue from the remote, sound quality is great, it reconnect itself automatically when i switch them on,call answers and hangs works perfect, although the mic is no that good, overall i would recommend, i just wish s2p was a bit less buggy... maybe its time to check if there is a new update. the main issue with this, or any bluetooth wireless device, is battery life. hope it helps/

Great!!! Firstly, sorry if this is a dumb question but what is S2P? My choice of a bluetooth headset is between the mm200 and the Plantronics discovery 925 which also promises 5-6 hrs talktime. How much talktime do you get out of the mm200 and how bad is the mic. Do you often find yourself repeating what you have to say to the caller? Would really appreciate a quick response as this is an urgent need. Thanks for all your help.
