samsung i900

The phone is a Samsung I900 and the issue is browser, mainly Opera, scrolling and link clicking. First, scrolling up and down a page by touch is unresponsive and jerky. Is there either a sensitivity or alternative scrolling parameter?

Second, the browser misinterprets scrolling actions as 'clicks' and follows random links. Is there a way to configure links to two clicks instead of the assumed one? Is there a better way to manage scrolling?
