blackjack ii windows mail sync

I have had a strange occurance and need some help. I have a Blackjack ii with WM6.1. When syncing to my laptop thru Windows Mobile Device Center it only gives me the option to sync files, mobile favorites(music and such), and microsoft one note. I have read enough to know it will not sync with vista windows mail and contacts. I decided to go another route and use nuevasync and google calender and contacts. It works. NOW when I plug my phone into my laptop to sync, I have the options thru Windows Mobile Device Center to sync also my contacts and calender. Not sure what steps to take to follow thru with this or if it will even work with Windows mail or calender?? Any help???
