Guest wooten Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 hi! ive got this problem... My vibrator doesnt vibrate when i recieve new messages or inc calls. The vibrator works for the touch screen, so its nothing wrong with the motor. I got a reg edit program, so if some1 cunning could give me some advices what i could do to fix this problem i would be really greatful!
Guest leelou Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Last week i'va the same issue with my Omnia. My Rom was XJHJ2 (Spanish). Touchscreen vibrator works perfectly, but incalls, sms, or teeter, doesn't works. I didn't found any solution in forums, so i try a hard reset and now with the same programs, all is fine. I think was a combination of software programs installed in a specific order... What programs are you installed on it?
Guest WoZZeR999 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I had installed Opera Mobile (15322 I believe), and that seemed to break notification (calls, text, that sort of thing) vibration. I had installed it and uninstalled it many times to make sure that it was Opera causing the problems, and with 15322 on, no vibration. When I uninstalled it, vibration! This may or may not be the case for you, but I did notice that it copies over ImmVibe.dll (which replacing with the old one did not fix).

Guest WoZZeR999 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Explorer is trash in my opinion, it was worth a hard reset to me. I'm used to reinstalling everything though, I've done a lot of hard resets :/

Guest WoZZeR999 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I'm not sure where to get the original stuff. I played with it for a while, but just did a hard reset. You could try playing around with the opera entries in the registry to see if anything was out of place from the old install.

Ok.. i think explorer works fine for now. and the vibrator>opera. and hard resetting will make me loose all progs and settings, so ill be satisfied for now :) Thank you so much for your help!!
