Guest archanglmw Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 i didn't notice any difference. i tested the speed of each setting on dslreports.com/mspeed. the difference was marginal either way (faster and slower).
Guest Nottach Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 yeah, i dont know if it actually works. i just saw it and thought id share. i changed mine to 10 and not 50. it did seem i bit quicker to load (opera), but that might be in my head.

Guest drdownload Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 it wont help for speedtests (because they just test the max speed). the parameter helps with webpages that have a lot of media embedded and therefore have a lot of different elements to load.
Guest Nottach Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 thats what i thought, it doesnt download at faster speeds, it just downloads more at once. so instead of 4 connections downloading however much data, 10 connections are. thats why it loads faster.
