Guest Peter Niklas Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Every time I switch the phone on, I get a notification about 2 new voice messages. There are NO messages on my voicemail (they were deleted), and there are no messages on the phone itself either. I cannot get rid of the New voice message icon in the taskbar. I am scared to do a hard reset. This is my first Smart(?)phone. PDA i900XXHH1/JBHH1 Phone i900BUHH1 Can anyone help?
Guest Jumba Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Hi Download and install resetunreadcount.cab There's a link around here somewhere... hth
Guest syrguy1969 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Another thing you can try is to call your phone, leave some sort of VM and then listen to it on your cell. I had this happen when I did a restore from a backup that has VM notifications on it and this meathod worked for me....worth a shot!! :)
Guest Peter Niklas Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Hi Download and install resetunreadcount.cab There's a link around here somewhere... hth Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it's unsuccessful. I have also tried to leave a new voice message and then deleting it, but no joy. That icon just won't go away.

Go to HKCU/System/State/Messages/Vmail/Line1/unread/count --> reset that one to "0" and HKCU/System/State/Messages/Vmail/total/unread/count --> reset that one to "0" aswell and u lost ur icon... Works like a charm...

Guest Atharon Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 AWESOME. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! Oh oh, with the first new voice message we're back to square 1.... Any ideas? Be on time to answer ur phone so they wont leave a vmail :( No, for real, its a network provider problem. They dont send a reset notification to ur phone. So the icon stays there. U can try to make a quick link with the reg. info or try a 3rd party software which resets ur v.mail count... Dunno where to get it though..
