Guest barbs666 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) gday again people, I thought i saw a thread on here about stopping the I900 Omnia keypad popping up when you read messages..... may someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction!? Edited January 22, 2009 by barbs666
Guest scoiattolo Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I believe you are using threaded messages. Simple way to avoid the keyboard popping up is to use non-threaded messaging: the keyboard will appear only when you reply. You can easily change this option using the littel program called OmniaTHREAD. You can find it in the forum (there is a specific thread)
Guest Frankish Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Or use the Favorite Hackings program that some one here made. It has an option for this keyboard thing :)
Guest TonynMI Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 I have found this on another site http://www.samsung-omnia.org and it works: Need RegEditor hkey current user/control panel/sip...TurnOffAutoDeploy change it from 0 to 1 then soft reset. Let me know what you think. TonynMI

Oh by the way is there a quick way to make a .lnk file so i can allocate it to a softkey (New SMS)??

Guest Dub-77 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Is there a way to turn off auto word suggestions ?? Is it not in the options section @ the top of the keyboard's list or go settings/Personal/Input then choose Word Completion.... :)
Guest bobobird Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Is it not in the options section @ the top of the keyboard's list or go settings/Personal/Input then choose Word Completion.... :) Yes it is - but has no effect on mine. Try it...
Guest new2city Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 thanks, this will finally get rid of having to move the HUGE Samsung Phonepad that I use whenever I want to move files in Total Commander. Concerning auto suggest words, is it possible to disable it in keyboard mode only? i mean the words suggested during qwerty keyboard is ridiculous!!
