Guest lastnikita Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 good idea, you can already do it manually with a soft to turn the screen off, mapped to a button (aebplus can do that) if someone can provide me with an .exe which just turn the screen off, I think I can make it to launch auto. on sync :)

I'd asked this question before but seems to have no right answere for this issue.
Guest bpivk Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 It will turn itself back on right after couple minutes. I'd asked this question before but seems to have no right answere for this issue. That's because turning off the screen with power button puts the phone on standby and AS doesn't work then. So it turns itself back on and establishes a new connection.
Guest lastnikita Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 true. it will happen if you standby, not if you turn the screen off. if someone can provide me with an .exe which just turn the screen off, I think I can make it to launch auto. on sync :) no one with a small .exe that fits the job ? I know it exists, but dunno where to find it fast. it's a good idea, not because it is disturbing, but because your battery will load faster this way.
