ceregedit "access denied"

I have a new LG Incite with touchscreen and Windows Mobile 6.1 . I am trying to edit the registry using Ceregedit. When I try to change a value I receive a message " access denied". I tried the tool in the program for unlocking the registry and it says that it has worked but I still get the error message.

Finally figured it out.

I downloaded and ran "Device Security Manager PowerToy for Windows Mobile 5.0"

Cregedit now allows me to make my desired registry changes.

I downloaded "Device Security Manager PowerToy for Windows Mobile 5.0" but when I try to open it, I get an error saying that it stopped working. I want to take out that "access denied."
