Hi people,

My cable connection to active sync dies after a few minutes. The tray icon goes to grey but the funny thing is

when I plug-off cable, the winxp sounds the usb plug off sound which means it

still connected till I plug it off and so omnia has "double arrow icon" on bar which shows connection till I plug off cable..

I'd been using the my firmware more than 2 month without problem.

It is :

i900DTHJ6/MCR02

And my active processes which seen on sktools :

I had this same problem.

Go to Settings>Connections>USB to PC

Uncheck "enable advanced network functionality"

This worked for me and the Omnia stays connected.

I had this same problem.

Go to Settings>Connections>USB to PC

Uncheck "enable advanced network functionality"

This worked for me and the Omnia stays connected.

Oops ! I dont have "usb to pc" option under Settings>Connections>.. I have "Usb connection" option and activeSync selected between options activesync and mass storage. No "enable advanced network functionality" option here..

Sorry TKinVA, you are right, I've found it under winmo menu, I was trying to get there from SPB MobileShell menu which does not contain "usb to pc" icon, it is weird.. By the way, I've done what you've said and reisnstalled windows xp driver quickly, and now it is working well !!

Thank you again..
