Hi All,

How on earth do I change the message (SMS) tone alert? Presuming there is a choice to do so - looked everywhere but can't find it....a good time to change my glasses perhaps?

Cheers

Glen

But where should I store custom sounds if I want to use them as notification for incoming text message or incoming mail?

Store them in the Windows root directory as wav files.

Nope, only for ringtones...

Urm,

Yes they can. I have one set as my new SMS tone at the moment.

Hmm so you can, apologies. Can't stop it though if it's a long one can you?

No.

I use software called Audacity to cut/trim mp3s and get the section of the track I want though. It's really simple to use.

Thanks alot, this works fine. But you needn't put the .wav file in windows folder. You can put it anywhere on the device or the storage card B)
