M2D: How to set app locations?

The version of Google Maps installed with sztupy's all-in-one M2D is out of date, and I don't want this memory hog in my main storage anyway. I deleted it (no uninstall info for Remove Programs, so just wiped the Google Maps folder in Program Files).

Installed the latest version of Google Maps on My Storage. Now: How do I retarget the "Location" widget in M2D to point to GM over in My Storage? I looked through HTCHomeSettings.xml and this doesn't seem to be the place.

Similarly, how do I point the photos widget to a different directory for pictures other than the storage under My Documents? For similar space-saving reasons, I don't store any media in main memory.
