Have had my Omnia 900 for 5 days now and the battery life seems to be nothing like the specs say, I have to chafge it every night otherwise it runs out of power.I only run what I need, shut bluetooth off, shut programs down yet nothing makes any difference. I cant find an actual setting to turn off the GPS function when I am not using it as maybe that would help.

Is this normal?

if you dont use a program wich needs gps, the gps is of.. with me the omnia only last for a day but i have bluetooth on (most of the day) and gprs. I must say that newer roms do make the battery life a bit better then the original one.. escpecially tarils hl 3 final.. which is now removed (however still findable on formu)

I was a bit puzzle with mine for the last few days. My last charge was Friday, over the whole weekend I use the web a few times, mock with SPB Mobile Shell, having bluetooth on the whole time, wifi on for a couple of hours...

As of Sunday night, the battery indicator still shows 100%, which was wierd, but as of this morning it shows 80%. Lol!

I'm finding that device storage memory, has a major factor on the battery life and the heat of my device,

OVer the weekend my device has been so warm I could feel it through my jeans pocket...

I've done all I can to reduce the memory, but its gone somewhere and I still cant find out why....
