Text input behaviour - Can I stop the space after word input?

When I type a word and use the auto-complete thing to select the correct one, it always inserts a space after it. Is there a way to stop it doing that, I can't find an option.

Yes, click on the ^ near the sip.

Then click Options.

Then go to the 2nd tab (in spanish "Complete word")

There is an option "Add space after word".

That doesnt change anything. It still automatically puts a space after the word!!

Anyone else help with this problem?

yep.

it's done the same thing on every rom i've tried, so assumed it was a "feature" of the xt9 that couldn't be disabled?

i've resided to pressing backspace after every word i enter in this way *sigh*

When you have a word you want press the "d-pad" or whatever it is called and it will just add the word without a space
