Guest Lucavi Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) (For US users only). I was having issues with the Pandora Mobile app and the Shazam MusicID app connecting to GPRS/EDGE but not ever actually connecting to their servers. Web browsing and Google Maps/GPS would work via GPRS/EDGE, and all my internet apps would work via WIFi. So I knew something was wrong. It turns out that T-mobile has a new Access Point Name (APN) that works with all my internet apps and doesn't require* using their 216.155.165.50 proxy crap. It seems I am the last to find this out. Its now "epc.tmobile.com", no longer wap.voicestream.com. The new APN works for downloading picture messages now too! Now, this may just be in select areas (I'm living in the Seattle, Wa metro area). *The only problems I've encountered with this new APN is: 1)The new APN will not share wirelessly with WMWiFIRouter without setting up the proxy (although it will share with MS Internet Connection sharing via USB) So I kept my old profile with the proxy for MMS and WiFI tethering and created a new profile with the new APN. Now Pandora Mobile and MusicID are working again! I can type up a pretty detailed guide on how to setup the 2 profiles if anyone needs it. Edited July 16, 2010 by Lucavi

You must not be the last Because I just found this out yesterday :excl: . I live in the Seattle Metro area as well and can you describe your setup for me and explain the issues with the WIFI a little more? Thanks
