Omnia rom update XKHJ3-> Manila2d?

Hi,

I just updated my Omnia's rom with the offical update from Samsung.

From the moment i updated i was stuned by the battery time it went up from 1 day to as we speak (20% after 4 days) but i had manila2d on my previous frimware but i want it back.

Can anyone proivide my with a version of manila2d for XKHJ3?

Hi, I had the same softare version after internet update - I'm allso dutch btw. - and got M2D running by flashing my device to Passoa's rom which has it default.

I tried to get it running with the All-in-One cab and by manually installing cab-by-cab but still no go. So for me flashing was the only option to get M2D running.

I am not shure if the new improvements of the last XKHJ3 version are implemented but i certainly believe so since my gps is working faster and my wifi is also improved.

But before you flash it i have some (general) remarcs which you should keep in mind, dont know how mucch experience you had with M2D on last ROM:

• flashing is at own risk and will (propably) end your warrranty - when noticed only ofcourse
  
• flashing could in the worst case lead to briking your phone when something should go wrong
  
  • Flashing with mentioned rom will switch your Omnia (system) language to English
    
  • TX9 will also be in english but this is easily fixed by following this topic: Samsung ( Keyboard, Keypad, Phonepad ) Multilanguage with ΤΧ9 and 160characters!
    
  • Touchplayer, Windows Live - and Messenger are removed but can easily be reinstalled by installing attached cabs in Passoas post
    

  I Use this ROM myself with TomTom 7 ( - with GPS-Gate ofcourse), Coreplayer (best of the best - dl-link at PM avail.), the fixed Messenger/Windows Live and just love it.
