phone says its on roaming??!

in my omnia the fone shows that it is constantly on roaming, the small triangle icon on the top. i am using a local simcard in the country i live and i changed the operator setting from the preconfig menu etc.. but still nothing. now even more strangely when i receive a local call, it puts the first 3 digits in brackets as if it is the country code.

for example what i mean is: if the number is 12 34 56 78, it was showing it as such before the preconfig settings change but now it shows (123) 456 78,,, as if the first 3 one are country code.,, anyone knows how to fix this?? and also how to fix this constant roaming thing
