any chance of retrieving sms and contacts after hard reset

hello!

im a newbie both to the forum and to the phone

im also not a techno-wiz

but i am asking for help pretty badly

i had problems with uninstallng spb mobile shell skins and it was messing up with my device so i hard reset it without thought

unfortunately from my stupidity, i did not come to think about my sms messages and contacts in the phone book

so i am asking if any one has any idea to help me if there's any possible way to retrieve my sms messages and contacts in the phone book after hard reset?

*pls pardon my stupidity on the matter, i was not thinking straight when i did the whole procedure and awfully regretting the whole thing so badly now :) *

hello.

sure there is a way...

its really simple

just install spb backup or resco backup...make backup in that program (make sure to select PIM and email)

it will make an "name".exe file wich you just run after hard reset and it's all back

Backup would have been helped you.. There's no way you can get your data back anymore. Remember to take backup before doing your next Hard Reset.

I'm afraid to say that there is no way to recover your lost data. As above there are backup tools available or you can sync contacts to Outlook on your PC but that doesn't help you now.

You do not really need a full backup program just for contacts and sms.

Use PIM Backup (freeware) and set it to save to a schedule to storage. That way even if you do a hard reset in future just run the program, choose restore, point it to the saved backup and all will be restored properly.
