Updateing my frimware

Hi All

My first post here, just stumbled across the site and i think it is amazing.

I updated my firware the other day to DXHH1 can i update to the latest firmware, iehttp://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-rom-discussion/283964/samsung-i900-omnia-custom-rom-30-01-2009/

without reverting to original fw as described in the tut.

It advised that you first upgrade to the official DXHK3 that you can download from the samsungmobile.com, choose Philippines.

It has an update to the EBOOT of the phone, and it's less riskier if you'd make the update with the official ROM rather than with a custom.

After that you can update to Taril's custom ROM.

i have a brand new samsung omnia and im a new use (of omnia and new roms)

mine is version:

PDA : i900XXHJ4/PNHJ1

PHONE: i900XXHI5

i would just like to upgrade.

i downloaded the updater but when i try i get incorrect version message

please tell me everything what i need to do -> basics style
