Guest finisterre Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Hi, I currently sync my Ipaq with Outlook via Activesync. How would it work that I synced an SPV and the Ipaq on the same PC? I can't install Activesync twice, so can I sync both devices using one install of Activesync? Could I sync different things on each device? Yours confused, Fred. P.S. I don't have the SPV yet.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 Activesync already supports multiple partnerships (devices), so you shouldn't have any problems at all! P
Guest Lizard_King Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 I have the same. I sync my Ipaq via the cradle and my SPV via IR. Works a treat....setup another partnership within Activsync as Paul says
Guest mike_m Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 I've just got my SPV E200 a couple of days ago. I didn't have access to my PC so I copied contacts from my old Siemens phone over. This only contains a subset of the Contacts I hold in Outlook on the PC. My question: Before I sync my phone with Outlook for the first time should I delete the contacts on my E200 so I get the complete set sync'd from Outlook. What I don't want is for my phone details to override anything already in Outlook (there maybe some differences like addresses etc). I also have an IPAQ. Has any one got any recommendations on whether you should sunc the IPAQ first with Outlook or the E200 Regards, Mike :?:
Guest morpheus2702 Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 I have an ipaq 1940 and a SPV E100. I have no problems synching either device using the USB cable, but big problems when trying to synch the 1940 via Bluetooth and the E100 by cable. I am not sure if the problem is my Bluetooth adaptor, or ActiveSync's ability to handle one device wired, one wirelessly?
