Please could you share your expertise on which is the best* (see below) software for performing "print screens" on the HD.

"Best" =

* free

* easy to use

* screen shots saved in format than can be edited/used on HD and PC

* can save multiple screen shots (a bit like saving lots of items on the Windows clipboard)

* anything else you can think of

Many thanks

Well - I've answered own question. I've found some free software that does the trick, but I cannot say whether it's the best or not..

I am using MyMobiler [http://www.mymobiler.com/]. You download the application to your PC and then connect the phone using ActiveSync. It then appears to load an application onto the phone and voila, you're ready to connect. Upon successful connection a window appears on the PC which is a real time true representation of what's on the HD's screen. You can actually operate the phone by clicking on the icons shown on the representation on the PC screen. It's even possible to compose texts, emails etc on the phone using your PC keyboard. Cool.

It's very easy to save the screenshots to the Windows clipboard (to paste into Word etc or image editing software) or as a file.

There's even an option to connect using wireless if you've got it. Nifty. Use it to operate the camera and you've got a wireless camera. Shame you cannot see the image on the PC representation before the shot is taken, but you can see the review image after.

Personally I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the following free software from EveryWan:

http://www.sparus-software.com/Device-Mana...-HOTLINERS.html

You can remote onto the HTC using your PC and control it using either a USB data cable or even bluetooth if you want to work wirelessly (only slight downer is you have to connect from the phone, you don'tseem to be able to initiate the connection from the PC).

One of the many features is the ability to take a screen grab...

Enjoy :(
