wifi password not saved. intermittent issue

I am not too sure how to test this and it is almost like intermittent.

Using the comms manager i can enter a password, and as long as i'm using the pda

- resetting

- turning on and off wifi

- switching profile

.... the wifi password is saved.

After non usage of the phone, the pda 'searches' for the enabled wifi but the saved password is no longer there and i have to rekey it?

Also - after disconnection of USB, sometimes the wifi password is no longer there and does not automatically reconnect???

Has anyone experienced a similar issue and is there a fix in the registry of some sort to keep my wifi conx permantly on the device?

Anyone? is everybody on this board saying that their wifi password is saved no matter how many times they reset their wifi/ reset hardware/ or use a profile switcher like phoneAlarm?>????
