Omnia Touch Scroll Problem

I've had my Omnia for a couple of weeks now and have installed the magnificent Manila 2d on it. However, scrolling is a real nightmare, which I thought came part and parcel with the software, until I tried my friend's phone with exactly the same model (PDA and Phone) and software.
