Windows 7 flashing

hi wanna know if anyone has succesfully flashed rom using w7 beta either directly or thru vmware cos i have xpsp3 installed on vmware but it doesnt pick up omnia after soft reset so i am unable to flash, i had the same xp on vmware running on vista and flashed several times so im guessin it sumthin to do with w7 beta. any one help pls?

I flashed omnia from W7 beta using granprix vista version.. Just installed wmdc 6.1 and let windows find the drivers..Then used granprix to flash the rom.
