Omnia I910 - Increase earpiece volume

I've read many descriptions of increasing volume while playing MP3s and doing other things with the phone, but not specific to the earpiece volume while you are talking to someone with the phone up tp your ear. Friends have verified the low volume at the earpiece so I know it's not my hearing. I have already increased the volume with the slide bar.

Am I missing another adjustment?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
