After connecting phone to PC via USB, I can see files on the expansion card, but not on the 8GB onboard storage. Any hints? Thanks.

That because when your phone is connected to your computer as a mass storage it dismounts. Go to Settings Connections USB Connections and change it.

The file I want in in \\my documents\DCIM\101sscam along with several other photos.

When USB connection mode is in Mass storage, my storage, in XP, I see these folders & files:

DCIM

DOIM

inbox.mst54657......

WDRM

WHDRM

_uniqueId.dat

encfltlog.menc

pocketFS.sys

In Vista, I dont see pocketFS.sys

The photo is not in DCIM. When it is in Mass storage, storage card I see 100sscam & 101sscam and other files I put on the card. The photo is not in 101sscam.

Use photo slides to find the location of the picture then just transfer it to wherever you need it

I know the location, \\my documents\DCIM\101sscam. The problem is when connected to a PC its niether on the card or or in "my storage". Dont photos get stored in one of those 2 places? If they dont, then I wouldnt see it on a PC, right? Are saying I need to copy it to the card or "my storage" to see it on a PC?
