Guest jordannn Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Basicallly, I want my old omnia back. I did have an Vodafone branded Omnia. Thought I'd flash it with a M2D Rom. Bored of it now, how to get my Vodafone one back? I'm not sure of the previous version. Current Version: ' PDA: i900DXHK1/M2D04, PHONE: i900BUHJ1' Any help appreciated. Please help me :) ! Thanks
Guest drewsta_j Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Probably best taking it back to Vodafone.. Not sure how easy it is to get branded ROM's..
Guest 3shirts Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Have a look around the ROMs here, you could try one of the Taril ones or something which have all the original software but improved memory and battery life
Guest shokka9 Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Use the 'incorrect software version'error guide to update using Vodafone latest (HJ1) ROM. When goign to the Samsung site, put in ACHH1 as the version code to dwonload the latest Voda firmware. When you have it, follow the guide mentioned above and then flash to the voda ROM. Or use one from Secany thread, they are standard ROMs, just without the Voda branding. Good luck
Guest goodbrand Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 if its just the M2D your not liking and want to go back to the Samsung menu's etc, there is a few nice ones available here!! Taril's is very good, or just take the Secany one which is the generic Samsung ROM...
