how to disable EVDO on samsung omnia (i910)??

Anybody know how to disable the EV-DO and use 1x only for the omnia (i910) yet?? with every other phone ive have had on verizon i was able to disable the EV and stop it from killing my battery by switchting back and forth all the time, but...i cant find out how to do it for the omnia yet. any help on how to make it 1x would be wonderful!! thanks!!!

I don't know if it's the same for you but I'm able to switch from 3G to GSM on my Omnia by going to settings->phone->"more"(press the right arrow key on the bottom)->select band selection and press get settings. You'll get the frequency band screen and, assuming it's the same for GSM and EV DO networks, you can select if you want to use GSM or WCDMA.

Nope. Phone settings cpl on the i910 is totally different than on the 900.

I haven't found any way to control what sort of network connection the phone makes.
