Can I change the lock screen?

My company's Exchange Mail policy forces the implementation of the lock screen before I can access the server. Is there any way that I can substitute this screen with an alternative? For instance, instead of constantly looking at the keypad, I would like to see a clock (or anything more interesting!). Is there any other way around the forcing of the lock?
