HELP!!! [CAN'T GET RID OF "ALIGN SCREEN"]

Hi guys,

i upgraded my i900 to DXHH3, everything was ok and my PDA has been upgraded successfully, but my Phone version remains the same, and Step 4 was failing every time,

Had to reset the phone and after that whenever i get to ALIGN SCREEN i will get stuck there and can't make it,

its been 3-4 hours now im tryin so hard, i tryed with stylus, finger, nails, pins, the + is moving but i have to do it over and over and i already done it very accurately, its not passing by.....

What should i do?

please give me some advice......

also for that phone upgrade failure if you got any comment let mek now please,

I had this problem. (not after an update, just generally) I phoned samsung and they had to repair my omnia. Took a month but now its working fine.

Anyway, to get into your phone i did this:

install this to your pc:

connect your phone with usb cable, itll auto install the software to your phone.

in the software go to task manager (so you can see what tasks are running on your phone)

now im not 100% on this 'cus i only did it once, but a bit of trial and error (if you mess up just restart the phone)

try and delete the task that sounds most likly like a screen alignment software.

I managed to get it right and booted into the phone, upon turning the phone off and on again it bypasses the align screen :)

as for the update try and stick a normal samsung rom on and see if its any better

i already droped my phone into a dealer, it had 1 year warranty, they told me that they will fix it in 3 days and they will update the firmware as well....

I got mine second hand, told samsung and they put it as i bought it new with a purchase date etc. Hopefully itll work fine when you get it back :)

I had that problem too, what i'm do: with CeRegEditor find the welcome.exe file with search and delete it. restart

i have the same probleme and i don't know what to do...i will try today the ceregeditor method hopefully it will work...could you pls tell me if it worked on your omnia?
