hi guys i wonder how many of you have tried sbsh calendar touch

its a touch friendly calendar replacement for windows mobile and its gotten great reviews.

ive been using it for more than a month and its graphical, touch friendly interface is perfect. plus it doesnt use a lot of resources so i always have it on the background.

was wondering though if anyone knows the reg keys for making it the default app.

it would be awesome to have it appear on screen when we press the appointments or task buttons of such programs as spb mobile shell.

cheers

try replacing the calendar.lnk with a link to the new calendar application. Most programs seem to reference the link file to start windows calendar.

I just installed it on my omnia, and during the installation process, it asks if you want to redirect all calendar shortcuts to calendar touch, and touching the calendar on the today screen goes to calendar touch!

really i think i missed that. it did ask me to setup the today button for calendar touch.

hmmm il go check the settings or maybe i should reinstall..

It asked me two questions iirc

One was to remap one of the soft keys, and the other was the option to update the links to point to calendar touch

i installed my calendar touch again and it is indeed openning in calendar today screen

it doesnt link with spb mobile shell however

so i tried copying the link of cal touch over calendar.lnk in windows/ as the other guys suggested but resco explorer wouldnt allow me too either.

any other ideas such as reg hacks which would direct spb m shell to touch?

there is something that you need to modify on the SPB Mobile Shell Exe to make your SBSH Calendar touch as your default on Mobile shell.

Mobile Shell doesn't currently allow remapping to other programs (as fsr as I know!); maybe the imminent Mobile Shell 3 will rectify that?
