ok Question, how do i set my omnia so that when the sms message tone starts, it will stop as soon as i read the sms? Reason being is that im getting txt msgs and as i'm reading them the tone is still playing!

Now the problem, everytime I connect my omnia to the pc via data cable, I start transfering files and it just disconects. Any ideas?

Had that too :)

It will go into stand by after 5 minutes, even when connected to the PC.

To fix that you have to go to Settings > System > Battery > External > There change that the device doesnt turn off after a couple of minutes.

Didn't solve the problem. I just mananged to transfer a few more files.

The only solution for the SMS tones is to use shorter tones.

Unfortunately this has always been an issue with Windows Mobile devices, it handles notification sounds differently to incomming calls and alarms.
