Guest stuzathegreat Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 .... Thanks very much for that! I don't speak whatever language that is though so wonder if you'd be happy to answer a couple of questions please? Will it run with Exchange (over constant active sync)? Does gps work ok? Any issues playing music? Any issues with the internet/web browsing? If it can run these, then I will download! Any significant bugs? i.e. intermittent "wake up" or Black screen of Death or similar? Very many thanks :)
Guest stuzathegreat Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 ... Well, in the absence of any response I flashed it. Good apart from one MAJOR flaw, screenlock/pin doesn't work. Flashed right over the top of it.

Just one question : could be possible to create a clean rom with WM6.5, os and phone only will be great. Thanx in advance. Great rom? You had a different experience to me. I always set my device to lock on wake up, I was in IE and had no way of unlocking, soft reset, took the battery out. I have never been able to do a hard reset using start and end keys so my only option was to flash another rom. My advice is to beware.

Guest gcm79b22 Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 If your device locks while in an application can you unlock it? never locked during an application! :(
Guest stuzathegreat Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 never locked during an application! :( And there is your problem or rather ours. This is fundamental to my daily operation. If you don't lock the device, how do you stop random button presses whilst its in your pocket running Windows Media Player? How do you stop silly button presses by your ears whilst on the phone?

Guest Shadowy Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Never Heard S2U ? I'm quite happy using the power button to lock my device and don't expect to have to reflash to recover it after using standard funtionality!

Exactly! And why should we use a third party app to accomplish something when the OS will do it happily - on every other rom anyway.

I've never seen a Windows Mobile version able to do everything in an happily way. Without third party WM neither turn on :(

Im currently back on 6.1 rom with TF2d and more than happy with it.

Some bugs you and others has been experienced were listed in pdaviet forum. They are known bugs can't be fix at the moment. The main reason of this release to get feebacks from testers, as cooker don't recommend for daily use.
