Guest bpivk Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 (edited) I would just like to let you know that you can download a great app that will let you - View your mobile screen on your desktop. - Control your mobile by using desktop keyboard and mouse. - Copy/Cut/Paste text between mobile and desktop. - Capture mobile screen. - Drag and drop files to your mobile. - Support ActiveSync / IP Connection - Support Mobile Explorer (File Browse) and it's freeware. Some people have a lot of problems when they want to browse into windows folder or copy something to it so I just wanted to let you know that this thing makes life a lot simpler. :) You can get it here (http://www.mymobiler.com/) Edited February 8, 2009 by bpivk

Guest Diggedy Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 I like this. When im installing stuff it makes it easier than having to unplug my phone (short cable) to do anything on the phone screen :)
Guest zagzag99 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 (edited) Looks promising. Need to wait to be around my ActiveSync computers (too bad it's allowed only on two) Edited February 8, 2009 by zagzag99
Guest Omnian Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Very Cool !! and after i switch to normal keyboard SIP, i can type SMS and send right on my PC! definitely a damn good software. no installation is required too. just execute from the EXE file in the ZIP folder. Guest Sylar30 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Ive been using this a fair bit since I got the phone last December. Its so handy, one of the best apps for the Omnia. Edited February 9, 2009 by Sylar30
Guest jstockto2000 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 very nice app... the default skin that's included is QVGA only however, so here's an adapted WQVGA copy i just knocked up...wqvga_skin.zip
Guest strong sad Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 I found this program from a guy at work who used it on another samsung device. I like it a lot. I am not suppose to text at work but online chatting is ok.. yeah it is retarded I know....so I just pop this thing in there and it is just like I am chatting because I am using the keyboard to type. It is really handy if you have to do any documentation on how to use the device.
Guest Koofteh Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 very nice app... the default skin that's included is QVGA only however, so here's an adapted WQVGA copy i just knocked up... What's the skin for? I thought MyMobiler just runs in the background on your device and it just gives you a drop-down menu on the Today screen.
Guest necosino Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Koof, no, I think you have it completely wrong, lol.. myMobiler installs on the PC and on the phone, and lets you view and control your phone from your PC, like Windows Remote Desktop but for your phone. The skin makes the program on the PC look like an actual Omnia, rather than just a box... Try it and you'll understand.

I guess I'd never bothered to look and see if it had skins, I'd just always used the default view. :D

It's Friday , 9AM, and I'm already checked out for the day
Guest rcicu Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 +1 Great App!! Been using it since 2005... Also works great over WiFi!!
Guest soccerdon1981 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 The IT dept at my work has a block on all non-Medicare related sites. Is there a way to use my phone's connection to the internet rather than using my work's connection while using MyMobiler? I'd like to view modaco and other sites on my computer screen, but if those sites aren't related to Medicare .... I cannot view the site. =( Thanks.
Guest badai Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 this app can only work on 1 pc? i installed on 2nd pc but it failed to connect (say something like it already installed), but no problem on the first pc, it still can connect. so have to go back using SOTI.
Guest bpivk Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 this app can only work on 1 pc? No unless you used a different password on your first computer. I use the same program on three computers and they don't give me any problems.
Guest The Entity Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 +1 Great App!! Been using it since 2005... Also works great over WiFi!! Works great through bluetooth sync as well.

Pffff. Since no one else replied, I logged back in here after months to help you out. :) The Windows Vista/7 equivalent of ActiveSync is called Windows Mobile Device Center, and MyMobiler most certainly works with it. Been using it myself for over a year now on Win7 x64. Edited March 24, 2010 by Koofteh
