Anyone know the quickest way to make sure that all my mobile internet connections are off? I only want to be connected when I want to be connected and not find that it's been on for 3 or 4 hours at a time, wasting my battery.

If you go to my post over at http://www.samsung-omnia.org/samsung-omnia...16842/#msg16842 there is a cab attatched that makes a simple registry edit that will make it so when your GPRS will automatically disconnect after being idle for 60s. Works great for having your phone check your email every 30, 60, or howevermany minutes so it connects, checks, and disconnects without you having to do anything. The post over there explains it better... too lazy to type it all again, lol...

Thanks guys.

Looks like the forum truncated the address and I get a 404 error.

Ugh... no idea why it keeps doing that... try this one www.samsung-omnia.org/samsung-omnia-tricks-and-tips/best-way-to-better-battery-life-i've-found-so-far/

Plz maybe in the future the new nodata version. :D .. may include an option to block only the programs you want :) , because when I use the data xtraGPS ;) I have to juggle in order to activate the 3G and handling is quite a feat :o , other programs also need 3G or Gprs. :D

Please see if you can add this option we would be very useful

:D

There is also a setting in the ap advanced settings that will allow you to end a data session within a time period.

Can't remember where I got the cab from but it is here somewhere. ;)
