SPB Mobile Shell problem.

First of all want to express my thanks to all the guys who post advice on here, i'm very new to modifying my i900 and through the posts here i've managed to do most of what i'm trying to do.

Now the problem,

I installed Taril's latest ROM on an unbranded UK i900 ( from Orange ) and then installed SPB Shell using the skin set from http://www.imarche.net/omnia/index.htm Everything seems to work well, thanks to the guys that developed this stuff, awsome work.

The problem, if it even is one, is that when i press the "call end" button the display reverts to the original smasung today screen.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening, it can be quite annoying, or is that jusmt a "feature" of the software?

I have a feeling there are going to be many replies saying its meant to do that, and if thats the case then i've lost nothing.

There is a prog on here called spb watcher which will stop u ever seeing the today screen install the cab and in the today settings make sure spb watcher is ticked

Lol, i was wondering the exact same thing when i came across this thread!! Thanks anubi, but that does seem a bit extreme, i do want to be able to get back to the today screen, just not when i press end call button...anyway to do this?

erm... i installed spb watcher but i couldn't find it in today setting.. any advise on how to get it work ?

Uninstall it, then make sure you Install it in your Device memory then go to the Today Settings on the Items tab and search for Spb Watcher and itll be ther just tick the box and it will become active.

haha this application is working now.. but whenever i pressed the End Call Button, the screen would switch to the home screen then switch back to spb skin.. hmmm hope they release a newer and improved version to give a better usage :(

Great I'm glad it helped. Yes unfortunately this is the only option we have now for SPB MS to "replace" the today screen, it doesnt replace it completely but hopefuly it will replace it with the new relase of SPB 3 B)! Until then this one works just fine!! hehehe

mobile shell 3 doesnt do this anymore. official release should be out soon.
