Guest minhgi Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Here is a an update version of Omnia theme for S2U2 1.45 (Safe for v1.50), where the old one was for v1.22. Just copy it over the original gfx folder in S2U2. *Credits goes to DainaofAcadia and MonkeyXIV* Also here is a fixed for Inesoft Phone v.4.4 Caller ID where it default back to the orginal blank/black theme. Place the wqva theme in the CID folder (leave the standard_vga theme alone and you can delete the other two), then select the wqvga theme *reboot your phone afterward*, and use another phone to call your phone. The wqvga theme will replace the default one. If it work, then it switch back to the standard_vga theme. Call a second time to see if it use the correct theme. This fixed had worked on my Omnia and may not worked for others. *This method does work if your phone sometime will boot up fine and at times with the program load error* I would like to also add to how to fix "programs can not load" error on WinMo startup. You may be getting these errors due to timeout of programs waiting to load. Use Memmaid to rerrange the startup sequence of programs. Here are the arrangment that I use. This had fixed errors on my Omnia. 1) Windows programs 2) Eessential services by other programs 3) Skin program (SPB Mobiles, TouchFlo, and etc) 4) and..... 5) S2U2 last (added) Let me know if I had made any typo / needed to be edited. *Another tip* Clear your notification queue of errors using Memmaid. added 02/16gfx.rarstandard_wqvga.rar Edited February 23, 2009 by minhgi
Guest minhgi Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Noting much..but realingning the buttons in the configuration menu, identify what icons not to replace in the new S2U2, and resize the walpaper for the Omnia... No new gfx icons..just the orginals.

Guest Sky Masters Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 You mention "then select the wqvga theme..." Where do you select the wqvga theme? Is it in the Inesoft options menu or winmo theme? Also, what about if you had disabled samsung dialer and activated silver inbox? Guest minhgi Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Unfortunately this doesn't work, it uses the default black theme no matter what i choose... Do you have S2U2 Call ID enable? If you not using S2U2 then do not worry. Try uninstalling Inesoft Phone and reinstall it. After that, try to reuse my method. It may help to disable the Samsung dialer skin. This is what I did to get mine to work. Uninstall Inesoft Phone. Delete the folder if you have too. Disable Samsung Dialer. Reinstall Inesoft. Select the wqvga theme and reboot. Make the phone call. If it working, reenable Samsung Dialer. Mine workinkg perfectly. Oh..I am using Taril DXIA2 rom if that help? Edited February 9, 2009 by minhgi

Guest panart Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 When you choose the wqvga theme, did the skin came up? No just the black one.
Guest minhgi Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 seem like Inesoft did not see the skin? I notice that there are more than 20 downloads. Can someone report any success?
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) Well the analog/digital clock looks ok, with the right tweaking for a darker background you can also see the white text cz with the default background it's not readable.... So with this new darker background I made it looks like this, same background works for landscape aswell: Edited February 10, 2009 by jeffrey2000
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Well and this is the darker background itself...
Guest Maxwell Newton Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) Nice work! It looks good! Edited February 11, 2009 by Maxwell Newton

If you get the black default skin then you can try to use my fixed. It may and may not work. Also try to use the trial version from Inesoft. Edited February 16, 2009 by minhgi
Guest Spartans09 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Hey guys, I've recently gotten the phone and the s2u2 program. It turn on the lock mode way to fast or if i am reading a website or something. SO I disable it when I am using the phone extensively. But then it doesn't show who is calling but just gives me the options of Answer or Receive. It is kinda annoying not to know who is calling before you answer. Any sugesstions?

Go to S2U2 setting and either extend the time S2U2 kick in or disable the timing. You may ask other for advise.

Can you specify which option this is exactly? I only see one 'Power off in' which allows me to set time. What about the Caller ID issue? I appreciate the response, Thank you!.

What about the Caller ID issue? I appreciate the response, Thank you!. I had the same issue (kinda). It was flaky. So I gave up. I installed Spam alert. It has a good caller ID (but it locks sometimes too). I still use S2U2, but only for the screen saver and lock, not the caller ID. I turned it off. Also, on the omnia in settings / power, there is a setting to turn off the backlight. Check that too.

Try the back light setting in the power setting. extend the time when the back light dim.
Guest minhgi Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Since s2u2 had been updated to 1.52, the Omnia theme no longer correctly. The icon where it show the number of miss calls or message is not align correctly. Half of the icon does not show. What had happen is there a new icon that had been added which cause the misalign. I had upload the two icon strip from the original s2u2 1.52 and one from the omnia them. Can someone that good in using photo shop corrected this issue? Thanksnotice_s2u2.rar
