Porting is more easy and image effects are more easy to create. However we also see the downside of it all. Up to now, creating successful J2me games is only being done by companies who seriously invest in porting (some student projects left out of scope). That way, the market was protected by natural boundaries. Now, the market will be open to anyone with the Flash Lite package on their PC's and by the use of vector graphics, no porting needs to take place. So probably, we will see huge amounts of software hit the market, undermining the current financial balance we all enjoy due to the porting pain. B)

Point I'm trying to make is, I can't find squat to put on my omnia to make it 'fun'. I'm not too worried about it now since the purpose of this phone is to be a PHONE and deliver internet to my PC, which it is doing well for now. But it would be nice to get games and other cool apps for this phone without a.) having to jump through hoops and spend hours installing / configuring crap or b.)spending an arm & a leg on license fees. Free, easy to get apps. Lets see 'em. Direct links would be nice, just providing a monster list of app names gives us nothing but jealousy. You're in the wrong forum if you're asking for links to warez. You can get freeware games and they are already posted in this topic.

Guest kav Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 it cannot be that complicated, u already got the names of the apps that work,the hardest part is already done for u, just google them and figure out what u want to get, pirated or legally bought apps. it doesnt get easier and more legal than this here.... so make an effort to help urself in that matter, people here helped u as far as the rules and regulations allow here.
