Hearing echo when receiving land line calls

every time i receive a land line call i can hear myself echo everytine i speak but the other person cant here it, and if i phone them back its all normal.

any help would be great. thanx

then i means that i has nothing to do with ur phone. if when u call them back u dont get the echo thing, then definetly i would say it is due to the operator u r using.

some mobile operators use a different server to send incomming calls to the mobile phone and a different one to pick and forward outgoing calls
