Every now and again (although seems to be a more common thing) my phone just turns itself off. Ill lock the phone and either put it in standby or it does it itself and then when i go to awaken it there is no response, either by pressing the back button or the on/off button. The only way to turn it back on is to take the battery out and put it back in. I'm guessing its probably a rom issue rather than a phone issue...I cant remember whos rom i am using but it is

I used to have this problem, i updated to the newest ROM and it went away! Another thing was, i was convinced it would very easily turn off with the slightest knock, do you slam it down on the table or something? :(

Definatley a Rom issue, I had this with the T-mobile rom until i changed to the custom roms and now all is well.
