Guest kav Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 (edited) Hello to all, I have been trying to figure out if it is possible to add or remove links from the official samsung widget by only editing the registry, i found a key where u can enable the options in the settings- today-items-samsung widgets and the options tab that usually appears grey is now enabled :( B) . i could open it and got a menu where u can tick ie add or remove things from the widget but cannot get it to work properly, it just blocks. anyone here can help in figuring out how can we actually modify these settings properly so that we can add and remove items in the widget. I would really like to add apps like opera and weather and other favourite apps in the widget. the registry key is as follows: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\Samsung widgets. change the DWORD in options from 0 (default) to 1 to enable the options menu. by this way u can also enable options in the other items of the today screen, didnt try it because i am more interested in modifying the original widget without installing asdditional cabs, JUST REG EDITS :P :D Edited February 11, 2009 by kav
