Guest Jiminternational Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Hi guys. Just a small thing... I was wondering if the zoom function within Opera can be used on all pages like it can on the Opera website itself! Try this... If you go to www.opera.com on your Omnia, you'll find that if you "stroke" the right hand side of the screen, the screen zooms in and out and a zooming scale appears. Just like when viewing images saved on your omnia. Really slick. I reckon it rivals the iPhone's two-finger "pinching" zoom function. Really useful feature (both to zoom in on images on a site and to zoom out to get a better overview of a webpage) but I can't get it to work on anything other than Opera's own webpage. Any ideas? Are there some settings somewhere to enable this? My Version (Taril's latest): PDA: i900DXIA2/OMNIA PHONE: i900DXIA2 PS - Top site this!! Cheers, Jim
Guest kdavidyates Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 I've found it doesn't work on mobile versions of web pages, which seem to have a fixed zoom level. On any full site, it works fine for me - that is, any site where the double click zoom works, the slider also works.
