Some problems, please help!

Hi!

Recently in Messaging, a blackish bar has appeared above the keyboard, and in threaded view, the suggested words flicker and stay where the bottom softkeys bar is, and when the keyboard is away half the input box is hidden by the bottom softkeys bar. Makes for very difficult messaging!

So I have Manila 2D. It mostly works but there are a few problems for me... The Audio Manager has never worked. When I got to the Music tab in Manila 2D, it says it's searching but it just keeps searching and nothing happens. When I try to start the program manually, it flashes in the Taskbar, then goes away, and nothing happens. Also, I can't turn on the WiFi in the Communications Manager, is there a fix for this? And occasionally the phone gets in a mood where M2D keeps exiting itself and I have to keep pressing 'Touch here to start TouchFlo...', is this common at all?

Another thing, sometimes the phone tells me 'System Memory is crictically low!' and it goes rather slowly. SKTools' Clean Up thing fixes it temporarily, so I think it's to do with cache. Is there a way to tell Opera to put the cache in My Storage?

Also, out of interest, is there a way to change the Taskbar to a colour that fits better with Manila 2D? Or even better, a way to change the colour of the Menus?

Finally, can someone tell me or direct me to somewhere that explains how to remove the branding-imposed restrictions on my phone in a simple and clear and step-based way? I don't have to option of Enhanced GPS in Settings because Orange want me using their service :( Don't like the Orange-ified menu icons either!

in opera in the address bar just type in opera:config

this will give u some option to edit some setting in opera. but if i am not mistaken, in sktools, (if u have it running) u can change this option for opera cache as well, not only ie. there is a thread here abt tweaks for opera, just try to look for it and it will help u more with the cache thingy.

regarding the memory critically low, it is because u installed manila 2d on top of a branded ROM, this causes the phone/PDA to have less memory to run, since manila uses a lot of space ( installation and usage). this is why most people use custom ROMS which have "useless" programs removed to make space for manila2D

i think u can unlock ur phone and then "install" (upgrade) another debranded ROM, u might consider using a custom ROM, this will solve ur issue of orange icons and u wil get the enhanced gps settings, but i am sure that this voids ur warranty with orange and u need some experience before upgrading ur phone with a custom ROM, since u can damage the omnia for good.
