Guest storm2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 Does anyone know if the windows os can be replaced with the symbiam os ...if so what wont work ? have omnia i900 :(
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 It would not work at all. It's unlikely to happen and more importantly, why would you want to replace the OS with one that has more bugs and less function? or would you prefer to have something less advanced and more basic? I've not heard of people porting the Symbian OS from one device to another but the main hurdle would be the issue with creating drivers etc just to get the basic functions to work. This would be something Samsung would probably have to develop if it were to happen. Not sure why you posted this in the Android section when it is discussing the Symbian OS?
