Speed up Blackjack II keyboard

Is there anyway to speed up the response time for the Blackjack II keyboard. My device is app unlocked so I can the make the necessary registry changes if needed.

That's a great question.

Typing on the BJ2 lags when typing text messages, but typing up Word documents is on-the-fly responsive. It irritates me, but I don't know how to fix it. In addition, the slowness causes the phone to miss keystrokes - that's the more annoying side-effect.

I once blindly searched for TXTing alternatives, but came up short. Anyone know a speedy lite txt messaging app?
