Camera problems omnia

Have this problem with my omnia that when the battery goes to 50% the camera stops working, it says not enough memory, I have closed all the applications with task manager but the problem is there. After that error if I recharge the phone to full battery and then try the camera there is no difference with the camera. The only way to get rid of it is by doing a hard reset on the 8GB of internal memory, it is annoying having to do that. I have a voda branded handset. Have had a look on google and this forum but that doesn't seem to help any ideas?
