hi

i recently upgraded to dxhk3 rom and have noticed that when is use my broswers (both skyfire and opera mobile) over a wifi network, and i end my browsing session and turn off the wifi radio, my 3g/gprs tries to connect even when the browsers are not running in the background.

any of you had this problem?

i also tried installing opera mini but i didnt work. could this be connected to my trying to install opera mini? trying to continue installation in the background?

thanks

I had the same thing happening on the same rom.

This afternoon I flashed DXIA2 and doesnt bother me anymore :(

don't know if it was a ROM issue or not though :-/

yeah what i did was install nodata

its a hassle though turning on/off nodata every now and then

it shouldnt have to be this way. feels like a program is trying to access it

are any of you using spb mobile shell?

Cos he's clean, I have it constantly with that ROM mainly because of the software I installed (gpsgate, spbweather and enhanced gps)

No-data.cab is a good program just to lock your OWN application out from gprs-traffic/notifications.

Not the default task manager. This one. Worth a try.
