Any way to mark SMS as read from notification

Hi,

I did a quick search and came up with nothing. As SMSs are limited to 160 characters in most cases, the whole SMS is displayed in the notification pop up. So by reading the pop up notification I have read the SMS. But to mark it as read I need to open and close the SMS. This is a pain if you use programs like iFonz which display the number of unread SMSs. Any way to mark SMSs as read when the message pops up?

Its simple, when the notification is up (the pop up ur talking about), press menu and choose, "save and mark as read"

Took me months to find out accidently :(

Thanks! The menu option is save as read. What an obscure entry.
