number display for omnia

I have a frustrating problem (not much of a problem but its really a huge annoyance) on my omnia.

When I enter the dialer mode and key in numbers, they display as (XXX)XXX-XXX which is really irritating. I remember I used to have them display as simply XXXXXXXXX but Im not sure what settings do that. I tried googling for this but cant find anything. help?
